Haryanto confirmed as Manor reserve driver
©WRI2 Following the termination of his race contract, Rio Haryanto will remain with Manor Racing as its reserve driver for the remainder of the 2016 season. The Indonesian failed to secure the necessary funding to pursue his adventures in Formula 1 with Manor racing, and it was announced yesterday that he will be replaced by Mercedes protégé abd Renault test driver Esteban Ocon. "Rio will be available to deputise should either race driver be unable to take part in an event", confirmed Manor in a statement. "He will also be immersed in engineering meetings and PR activities, as the team continues its support for his racing ambitions." Ocon replaces Haryanto at Manor...
