Pujolar joins Sauber in lead role

Belgian Grand Prix – Sauber have announced that former Toro Rosso man Xevi Pujolar has joined their team to lead their Track Engineering department. Ahead of the Spa-Francorchamps race, Sauber have announced a new signing to their technical staff – Xevi Pujolar. The Spaniard left his position of race engineer at Toro Rosso immediately following Max Verstappen's departure for Red Bull Racing after the Russian Grand Prix, his relationship with team management supposedly having soured in the months leading up to Verstappen's promotion. Sauber, too, have had to look for leadership in their technical departments, following the departure of Technical Director Mark Smith immediately...
