Singapore result a boost for Renault - Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen says 10th place in the Singapore Grand Prix is a welcome boost for the Renault team after a tough 2016 so far. The Danish driver lined up in 15th place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit but made good progress in the early stages, helped by a strong start. He ran in the top 10 for the majority of the race and ended up taking the final point, finishing ahead of Esteban Gutierrez. Magnussen admitted it has been a difficult year for Renault but said the 10th place in Singapore is a boost for the Enstone-based outfit. “I’m very happy for the whole team as this must be a boost for all of us,” he said. “It’s been a very demanding season as we all want...
