Williams prospect Stroll wins European F3 title

Williams development driver Lance Stroll, tipped to replace Brazilian Felipe Massa at the Formula 1 team next season, won the European Formula Three title with four races to spare on Sunday. The Montreal-born Canadian, who has already amassed enough points to qualify for a super licence, turns 18 later this month and is the youngest driver to win the series. Triple world champion Lewis Hamilton won the same championship in 2005. With 10 wins so far this season, and 12 pole positions, Stroll clinched the championship at Imola's Enzo and Dino Ferrari circuit.
