Hamilton survives to win in Mexico, keeps title bid alive

Lewis Hamilton's hopes for the championship were nearly flattened on the first corner of the opening lap of the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday but the Briton kept it together to seal a milestone victory. Daimler AG/Mercedes Now level with Alain Prost with 51 wins in Formula One, second only to Michael Schumacher's 91, Hamilton's triumph was also Mercedes 17th of the season becoming the first team to register the feat.
