Pascal Wehrlein: “It’s a race that can create a few surprises”

Pascal Wehrlein is looking to put the disappointment of his first lap retirement from the Mexican Grand Prix behind him as he turns his attention to the Brazilian Grand Prix at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace this weekend. The Manor Racing MRT driver had made it through to the second segment of qualifying for the fourth time in 2016 in Mexico, only to find himself eliminated in a crash involving Esteban Gutierrez and Marcus Ericsson on lap one, but has already put that behind him to focus on the race at Interlagos. “It was pretty tough to take in Mexico,” said Wehrlein. “We’d had such a strong weekend, making it through to Q2 and with a really strong race ahead of us. “But there...
