'Dennis in court bid to save McLaren future'

– Ron Dennis has failed in a High Court attempt to keep his position at McLaren, in the wake of a £1.6 billion takeover bid from a Chinese consortium, according to a report.Sky News has reported that unidentified Chinese investors tabled the bid for the McLaren Group – the parent company of the Formula 1 team – last week, which Dennis presented.However, Dennis' move has seemingly prompted fellow shareholders "to launch a plot to oust him" as Chief Executive Officer, a position he was re-appointed to in early 2014.Dennis is said to have been in the High Court on Thursday and Friday in an attempt to secure an injunction against directors suspending him and placing him on...
