Sauber confirms Ericsson to stay in 2017

– Marcus Ericsson will remain with Sauber in Formula 1 in 2017, marking his third successive season with the Swiss team and his fourth overall in Formula 1, the outfit announced on Monday.Ericsson made his Formula 1 debut in 2014 with Caterham before switching to Sauber in 2015, with whom he scored nine points, finishing 18th in the standings.Ericsson has not taken a point since last year's Italian Grand Prix, amid Sauber's struggles, but will remain with the Swiss team for another campaign."It is great news that I will be racing for another year for Sauber," he commented."I have spent two years with Sauber now, and I really feel at home.
