– Lance Stroll will be hit with a five-place grid penalty for the Australian Grand Prix, with Williams mechanics forced to change his gearbox after a heavy crash in final practice.Stroll, preparing for his Formula 1 debut, lost control of his car through Turn 10 in the closing stages of the session, the rear snapping away before contact with the wall.He came to a halt a few hundred metres after the impact, prompting Race Control to issue a red flag, with significant damage sustained on the right-hand side of the car.Williams assessed the damage once officials returned the car to the pit lane and promptly determined that a gearbox change was required, in turn landing a five-place...
