– Stoffel Vandoorne says that reaching the finish of the Australian Grand Prix represented a milestone for McLaren-Honda, admitting that the team expected both cars to retire.McLaren arrived at the season-opener off the back of a troubled testing period with its Honda-powered MCL32, characterised by unreliability and underperformance.Vandoorne qualified in 18th position and lost the dashboard function in his car early on, with the problem only resolved by conducting a power-cycle during his stop, losing over 15 seconds in the process.Vandoorne eventually trailed home in 13th place, as the final classified runner, gaining a position late on when team-mate Fernando Alonso retired due...
