Ferrari ‘need to be involved' in Formula E

Ferrari boss Sergio Marchionne says the Italian marques needs to be involved in Formula E as it is the way of the future. The longest serving team in Formula 1, Ferrari could yet branch out into the electric-powered Formula E series before too long. The series began in 2014 and is now in its third season. Such has been the increase in the series' popularity that this year New York city will host a race. Asked about a possible Formula E entry for Ferrari, Marchionne told the FIA's Auto magazine: 'I have two things in mind.
